WEEK 2: Ansoina 48, Holy Cross 7.

Week 2 didn't start out great for the Chargers, as Holy Cross scored on a 46 yd pass on the first series of the game, and Ansonia fell behind 7-0.

Then the Skykeem Harmon show took over. Harmon scored on runs of 5 & 13 yards, and the Chargers led 14-7 after one. Then Harmon scored on an electrifying 80 yard punt return, the followed that up with TD runs of 3 and 20 yards to increase Ansonia's lead to 35-7 at the half.

John Picheco (5 yard run) and Chicago Rivers (1 yard run) rounded out the scoring for the Chargers.

On a sad note. Jr. running back Kevin Dobbs had to be carted off the field in the 4th quarter after suffering a broken leg while being tackled on a running play. I have since heard that he underwent successful surgery at Yale New Have Hospital, and is doing ok. Thoughts and prayers are with Kevin and the Dobbs family.

The Chargers next game is on Thursday, 9/20 at Oxford High School, game time 6:00pm Hope to see everyone there!
